In his Civil War songs, you MUST find Als das Land Rief and sing "Fort Sumter Ist Gefallen in Der Rebellen Hand" to the tune (as a dirge) of A Mighty Fortress is Our God"
I cannot sing Fort Sumpter ist gefallen without tears of gratitude fto all the "foreigners" who've bled for this country.
